Veterans Garden

The Flint Cemetary Veterans Garden plan has been created by POD Design of Columbus in conjunction with the Flint Cemetery Trustees and Advisory Committee. It is dedicated to all veterans, with deep respect and appreciation for their courage, patriotism, and sacrifice. It is not a burial location, but an honor garden dedicated to all veterans.

The Flint Cemetary Veterans Garden is located on the east side of the new Flint Cemetery development, 8187 Flint Road. Founded in 1821, Flint Cemetery recently began a multi–year modernization and redevelopment plan, and is destined to become the premier cemetery serving Worthington and Sharon Township.

The Projected Cost of the Flint Cemetery Veterans Garden is over $100,000. Over half the cost has been provided by cemetery funds and by donations from individuals, Darby Creek Landscaping and VFW Post 2398. Our goal is to encourage individuals and organizations who support all veterans and Flint Cemetery to donate the remaining $50,000.
